The properties of tourmaline

Tourmaline is a magnificent gem with colors as varied as that of a rainbow. Its wide range of colors: black, green, brown, yellow, red, pink, blue, yellow, colorless or multicolored, comes from the different chemical elements that compose it: iron, manganese, nickel, cobalt, titanium… Its name is derived from Sinhala word (language spoken in Sri Lanka) "tournamal" which means "stone with mixed colors". Tourmaline, although present on all continents, is widely imported to Europe, by Dutch sailors bringing it back from the Kingdom of Ceylon.

In lithotherapy, tourmaline is known to act as a detoxifying agent. These crystals promote relaxation of the body and mind. It is also known for its electrical properties that allow it to protect the body against static electricity and radio waves.

Colors: pink, green, black, yellow, purple, colorless, multicolored ...

Symbolic of the flower of life

The Flower of Life is the graphic expression of a concentration of physical laws but also of metaphysical laws, and a large number of groups, religions, esoteric schools, orders and doctrines refer to this key. It represents the source of life, the emergence of the world.

The flower of life is made up of nineteen intersecting circles inscribed inside a sphere. The Flower of Life form contains a "secret" form known as the Fruit of Life which is made up of 13 spheres which contain several original laws. These laws represent the whole universe.

Offering the Flower of Life to someone is like giving the whole universe in one jewel.

The material of your bracelet

Omyoki golden jewelry is made of brass, treated with a thin protective layer. They are not gold-plated because the tackles rarely hold in time. Simple brass, will tarnish over time, but a simple lemon or a jewelry cleaner will keep it bright for years. here's how maintain your golden jewelry.

Brass or "yellow copper" is a metal alloy mainly composed of copper and zinc. Easy to work, and inexpensive, it is used in many areas, including jewelry. Brass is a very sturdy alloy, which fits in the long term. Indeed, a brass finery is resistant to both corrosion and salt water. Brass has been used in jewelry for hundreds of years. It is mainly the Indian artisans who initiated this practice, which became common later. Becoming very trendy today, brass jewelry has become a must.

Lovely bracelet, my 19-year-old granddaughter really liked it. A small criticism, however: the photos show the stones to be larger
