- Indian jewelry are made in the northwest of the country, in the Rajasthan region. This land is extremely rich in culture and craftsmanship. Indians have been making jewelry worthy of the Thousand and One Nights there since the time of the Maharajas.
- Nepalese jewelry are made in the heart of Kathmandu, the country's capital.
- Tibetan jewelry are not made in Tibet, indexed by China, but in Tibetan communities, living in India or Nepal.
- Thai jewelry are made by artisans from the Karen tribe, a people originally from Burma and living on its border in northwest Thailand.
