At Omyoki, we create local jewelry handmade, with care and passion. Thus, each piece of jewelry tells a story, that of a craftsman and a know-how passed down for generations.

Every year, we travel to create our handcrafted jewelry locally. We create our designs directly with our partner artisans in India, Nepal, and Thailand. In this way, we support a fairtrade jewelry, respectful of people and local traditions. Also, each craftsman is chosen for his talent, his ethics and his love of the trade.

Quality craftsmanship

Handcrafted jewelry has the unique look of being handmade. That's why our jewelry is made virtually without any machines. Plus, it provides more work for more artisans. As such, we've moved away from hyper-modern, machine-made designs to focus on quality handcrafted jewelry with finishes made to last.

The origin of our artisanal and ethical jewelry

At Omyoki, we create our handcrafted jewelry in Southeast Asia with passion and a commitment to ethical fashion. Our Indian jewelry comes to life in the heart of Rajasthan, in a small holy town renowned for its ancestral craftsmanship. Our Nepalese jewelry, on the other hand, is entirely handmade in the suburbs of Kathmandu.

Additionally, some Tibetan jewelry is made by artisans who have taken refuge in Nepal or who have integrated into Indian communities. Finally, our Thai jewelry is created by the talented Karen tribes located in northern Thailand.

Supporting local and committed crafts

Thanks to this approach, we directly support local crafts, in workshops visited and chosen for their ethics.
In addition, we help to preserve rare skills that local communities would otherwise risk seeing disappear.

That's why we work with women's groups, individual artisans, or small family workshops. Our primary goal is to enable these men and women to earn a decent living from their craft, in areas where opportunities are scarce.

Each artisan is selected for their expertise, their passion for the craft, and the beauty of the natural stones chosen together. For it is together that we imagine handcrafted jewelry inspired by local traditions and current Western fashion trends.

In addition, we ensure that we adhere to strict criteria: decent working conditions, fair pay, and a ban on child labor.
