The OMYOKI fair trade jewelry pouch comes straight from Nepal. Our pouches are handmade by peasant women from the Kathmandu countryside. They are all in different colors, in silk and cotton. It is not possible to choose the color of the pouch because they are not standardized and are made from scraps of fabric.

The fair trade jewelry pouch is sold in addition to a piece of jewelry and never alone. When buying jewelry on our site, your jewelry is slipped into a single pouch, sometimes two if the jewelry is delicate or in large numbers.

Omyoki is committed to a fundamental process, all of our jewelry, handbags and other craft items are made and sold in a fair trade framework. We work with talented artisans, with whom a unique relationship has been established. Each workshop was visited to ensure working conditions and fair remuneration is paid.

Our humanitarian commitments

Because we need to be meaningfull, because we care about those developing countries, we commit ourselves by donating 1000 € per year to humanitarian projects in the Himalayan regions, through the NGO Karuna Sheshen. In addition to this, 3% of each jewel that YOU purchase is donated to this organization and you contribute directly to support local people. This is the case, even during private sales and promotions. We haven't increased our prices because of this coomitment and do not intend to. We are aiming at fair prices for a fair trade and to support ethical fashion. Learn more
