Ocean Jasper Jewelry

The ocean jasper, also called orbicular jasper is a kind of jasper which is becoming very rare. Indeed, the only ocean jasper mine is located in Madagascar and the deposit has been running out little by little since 2009. This natural stone is a variety of chalcedony, containing quartz colored by iron oxides or other impurities. These impurities form pretty spherical shapes visible on the surface. Ocean jasper offers a range of colors: green, brown, cream, white, red, pink or yellow; with orbicular inclusions in various colors too.

In lithotherapy, the ocean jasper brings serenity and unity. It helps to create cohesion within a group. It strengthens memory. It can be used for digestive, liver, kidney problems, intestinal inflammations, hemorrhages, joint pain and muscle contractures.
