Chalcedony is a fine stone whose color varies from blue to gray, passing through yellow and water green. It is an opaque stone, with a greater or lesser degree of transparency. The main deposits of chalcedony are in India, Brazil, Madagascar and Uruguay.
In lithotherapy, it is a stone used to promote calm and openness to others. Chalcedony promotes inner peace, gentle communication, and greater tolerance toward ourselves. In ancient Greek mythology, chalcedony symbolized Gaia, the goddess of mother earth.
