Onyx and agate earrings are long and light to wear. It is a handmade jewel in Nepal and comes from fair trade. The buckles were made by Mahesh, a Nepalese craftsman, in the heart of Kathmandu. Thanks to a close relationship with Nepal we have sought out the artisans most in tune with ethical and meaningful creations. Mahesh handcraft most of our necklaces and bracelets from natural stones.

The properties of onyx

The onyx is white to yellowish, but also black. It is rather the black onyx which is known and used in jewelery. The main deposits of onyx are found in India, Brazil, Mexico, the United States, Uruguay and Madagascar.

It's a gem used for centuries. The Egyptians carved bowls in the white onyx, from the second dynasty. Persians and Indians believed that onyx protected the eye and could relieve a woman's pain during childbirth. But it was in England during the reign of Queen Victoria that the black onyx took off. It became commonplace in mourning jewelry, then fashion developed around this semi-precious stone and its use became commonplace.

In lithotherapy onyx is considered a stone of strength. Onyx is known to stabilize the body and strengthen the bone marrow. It is supposed to be a great help against arthritis, weakness of the liver and kidneys.

The properties of the crystal

Le cristal of rock is able to break down light in all shades of the rainbow. In lithotherapy it is considered absolute neutrality and can be used on all chakras, for all uses. Very effective for the glands and the thyroid especially.

Agate exists of all colors. In lithotherapy it is known to have beneficial and soothing effects on the environment.
It reduces epileptic seizures and sleepwalking. Agate acts on small eye problems. It is effective for headaches, body aches, cramps, back pain.
