Our women's silver earrings are handmade in Thailand and India. The gold earrings come from India and the jewelry made only of fine stones is handmade in Nepal. In fact, we travel to these wonderful countries every year to work with our partner artisans on new models.

Our women's earrings, without stones, are made in northern Thailand, by the Karen tribes. This people, originally from Burma, is the guardian of centuries-old know-how. More precisely, the work of hammered and brushed silver.

The earrings set with fine and golden stones are made in India, in the heart of Rajasthan. This land of princes and maharajas, where craftsmanship and know-how in jewelry have been renowned for hundreds of years.

As for the earrings made of fine stones, precious wood and seeds, they are delicately handmade in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal.

Women's Earrings Materials

The materials of our jewelry are noble, in certified 925 silver or treated and non-allergenic gold-plated brass. As for the natural stones, they come mostly from India and neighboring countries. This is why you will find a lot of turquoise, moonstone, labradorite, and rose quartz. In addition, special attention is paid to the finishing of the jewelry. Delicate and meticulous work is brought to each piece.

Fair trade

Omyoki follows the Fair Trade Charter. We create our jewelry with small workshops, women's groups, or local artists, in developing countries. Indeed, our goal is to provide work in less favored areas than ours and to improve the lives of artists and their families.

Also, each workshop is visited beforehand, to check the working conditions, the quality of life and the fair remuneration of the artisans.
