The material of your gold rings

Omyoki makes it a point of honor to offer quality jewelry. Our gold rings are made with quality and treated brass. We have chosen not to gold plate our gold jewelry because the plating deteriorates quickly and we prefer that our jewelry lasts over time. In addition, brass is a material with a beautiful gold color. It is an alloy of pink copper and gray zinc, with a natural matte yellow color that gives it a slight vintage look. Like silver, brass oxidizes in contact with air and over time. Oxidation is a surface phenomenon and it is easy to get rid of. However, simply clean your gold jewelry with lemon to keep it shiny. Contrary to popular belief, brass is not allergenic. In fact, it is very rare for people to be allergic to this metal. In reality, it is the presence of nickel, in large quantities, that poses a problem and caused a scandal years ago, before there was any real regulation of the composition of jewelry.

You'll find plenty of turquoise, moonstone, labradorite, rose quartz, and natural agates. For each creation, special attention has been paid to the selection of stones and finishing to ensure the quality and durability of our gold rings.

India - Govin's workshop

The Govin workshop, located in the heart of Rajasthan, is renowned for its exceptional jewelry craftsmanship. This colorful and cultural center brings together passionate artisans who work with silver with fervor. They set, brush, and polish each piece by hand, without machinery except for a polishing tool. This Aladdin's cave is full of natural stones. The gold rings born here carry a unique soul thanks to the traditional methods of making them.

India – Soni's Workshop

Soni's workshop is located in a holy city in Rajasthan. Soni, a young Hindu craftsman, passionate and dedicated family man, works with care. His small workshop collaborates with other artisans to compensate for the lack of certain tools. Making jewelry, especially gold rings, takes longer, but the results are exceptional. We have been collaborating with him since 2019, in a humane and respectful approach.
