The properties of chrysocolla

The chrysocolla is the stone of appeasement. It incites forgiveness and compassion. The chrysocolla stone essentially neutralizes the negative energies surrounding a person or a place.

In lithotherapy it helps to fight against ENT disorders such as angina, bronchitis, tracheitis. It fights against menstrual pain, with its anti-inflammatory energetic action, chrysocolla relieves cystitis, rheumatism and joint problems.

The chrysocolla is found in abundance in copper mines, and in less quantity, in gold mines. It was discovered during antiquity and mentioned by a disciple of Aristotle, in his Treatise on stones published in 315 BC. Its name comes from the association of the Greek words "chrysos" which means gold, and "kola" which means glue. This etymology is related to the use of chrysocolla which was used as flux to weld the gold.
