The LOTUS amethyst necklace is an Omyoki creation, handmade in Nepal. It is made of deep purple amethyst semi-precious stones. Two small beads engraved with lotus flowers bring an exquisite delicacy to the necklace. Entirely handmade by Mahesh, our artisan-partner in Kathmandu, Nepal, this jewel carries the values ​​of fair trade.

The properties of amethyst

It is used to fight excess (alcohol, drugs, tobacco ...). Stone of plenitude, it is particularly suitable for hyperactive and stressed. It promotes spiritual elevation, concentration, meditation, intuition, creativity and visualization. Amethyst helps to detach from material futility.

The name of the amethyst comes from the Greek "Amethustos" meaning "who is not drunk". The Greeks and Romans drank from cups of amethyst to protect themselves from the effects of alcohol.
