The MIKI square lapis lazuli ring is a unique piece. This new creation in 925 silver is entirely handmade. The fine lapis lazuli stone is a deep blue with some sparkles. This designer ring was designed in France and then shaped by a talented craftsman in Rajasthan, in northern India.

The properties of lapis lazuli

History tells us that the Sumerians associated the blue of lapis lazuli with the celestial vault. They esteemed lapis as a gift from heaven and worshiped it. The Egyptians, for their part, carved their famous scarab-shaped amulets in lapis lazuli. Lapis lazuli is a quality semi-precious stone. It is renowned in jewelry and can be found mounted on gold and silver jewelry. There are deposits of lapis lazuli in Afghanistan, Chile, and Russia.
