Turquoise Mala GAÏA

The turquoise mala GAÏA symbolizes balance, generosity and wisdom. It was handmade with love and patience by Mahesh, our artisan-partner in Kathmandu. Omyoki malas are all created and manufactured in a logic of fair trade. Thanks to a close relationship with Nepal, we have sought out the craftsmen most in tune with ethical and meaningful creations. Mahesh shapes most of our malas by hand. A family man and spiritual man, he makes malas and bracelets with infinite patience and by reciting mantras.

The properties of turquoise

Turquoise offers a variety of colors ranging from light blue to dark blue, veined with black. Turquoise deposits are found in many countries: Tibet, China, Iran, Afghanistan, Mexico, United States (Arizona), Chile, Australia, Israel, Tanzania. Very present in Buddhist, Nepalese, or Tibetan, it symbolizes material and spiritual wealth. Turquoise blue in Buddhism represents the life of humans in their life / death duality and earth / sky wisdom.

The etymology of the name "turquoise" comes from Turkish stone, because it is in Turkey that the Europeans found it (and that although the mineral was imported from Iran). She gave her name to the turquoise color.

In lithotherapy, turquoise is an emblem of courage. This semi-precious stone is also considered to be a source of well-being. It is also a symbol of wisdom. It arouses the nobility of feelings, indulgence and generosity.

Colors: sky blue, blue green to green gray
Chemical composition: Basic hydrated phosphate of aluminum and copper.
Chakras: Chakra of the neck and the throat.

The properties of rudraksha

The rudraksha, or Shiva's tears, are the seeds of a tree very widespread in India and Nepal, called the blue cherry tree. Rudra means in Sanskrit archer and aksha tears. Rudra is also one of Shiva's names and refers to his ability to break free of negative elements. Rudra kills the negative thoughts that inhabit the person by using his energy. Hindu sadhus and yogis, as well as Buddhists, carry malas of rudraksha seeds.

Ayurvedic medicine attributes beneficial and beneficent virtues to rudraksha. The seeds have a powerful electromagnetic radiation that strengthens the energy field. Wearing these seeds helps to balance the functioning of the organs.
